Speaking of crappy BYB's

This new girl came in from a shelter in Ridgecrest, CA-she was dumped there by her horrible breeder who found out the puppy in her was dead and didn't want to pay for her to see the vet. Not only that, her eye is totally wrecked from some sort of trauma, our vet said there isn't anything behind the lens (?), it's non functioning but there isn't anything we can do about it at this point. As if that wasn't bad enough, she's maybe 2 years old, and only 10.5 pounds.
And you know how 1 dog turns into 2? There was another one that came in right when our volunteer was leaving. She's a victim of a murder suicide. I don't think she's got much pug in her (maybe beagle?) but we are hoping to find her a home. So if anyone wants to cross post her, feel free!

Ditto.
Jesus christ, the nerve of some people. She found out the puppy was dead and couldn't be bothered to take that poor girl to the vet? It's disgusting.

it's amazing that animals continue to put their trust in us when so many of us let them down.

That little beagle looks positively haunted, like she's seen things no creature should ever have to witness. Bless her heart.
And Saira, I'm so glad that little puglet wound up with your group. Who breeds a 10-pound pug, aside from total and utter idiots??? No wonder her puppy got stuck. Jerks.

The abusers don't have hearts... But you are right. Damn them to that special circle of hell where they get exactly what they doled out to so many unfortunate dogs.
