Please help our liver shunt pug...

Post  Maryjo on 5/10/2011, 7:03 pm

We have a pug (...Rosie's story is here) in who needs liver shunt surgery. We're trying to raise the money, and this portion won't cost you a dime:

If you are on Facebook, click 'like' for Paw Prince (a dog boutique here in Anchorage):
http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Paw-Prince/47283978442

They will donate one dollar for every 'like' up to 500 likes ($500) for Rosie's surgery. I don't know when the count started (they have former 'likes'), but I think we have around 100 likes so far.

Thanks! hug dog

I've already made a small donation (wish I could send more!) and I will definitely "like" that page!

The more 'likes' the better! Every 'like' gets us closer to the $500! And it doesn't cost anyone a dime who 'likes'!

Also, Mel- any donation is a good donation. If 3500 people gave a buck each, we'd have her surgery money!

"Like" done on their page -
but -
I am a little confused, last post (about an hour ago) indicated they had just over 100 likes and were going for the next $100 for rescue but their page showed a total of 721 likes???????
I am new at Facebook and easily confuddled, I will admit, but can someone explain this to me?

They started with just over 600 people that liked their page before the fundraiser. For every new one this month, they will donate $1 to rescue. They did this type of fundraiser a few months ago too.

Thank you everyone for your donations. We are over half-way there for the surgery!
