Louie is not a pug who will be easily forgotten. I am so sorry here is no longer here with you, but he passed knowing he was loved beyond words. A candle is lit here for Louie.

Elizabeth, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Louie was, indeed, a very special pug. We will light a candle to help guide his journey to the Bridge.

Re: Louie's gone to the bridge

Thank you everyone. Once again I'm reminded that Pug People are best people in the world. I'm traveling east today -- to take my class in Raleigh and I'm sad not to be home but relieved that I won't be at home to notice the emptiness of our missing friend. I'll also be close to my Mom if she needs me.

I'm typing this from the plane, sitting in the middle seat where I've spent most of the flight reading posts and emails about Louie and bawling my eyes out. My seat mates probably think I'm nuts.

I'll get through this I know but it would seem a much bigger hill to climb without the love and support of y'all here and on FB and my good friends everywhere. Thank you.

Here's a link to a gallery of photos of Louie. I'm sorry they seem to be blurry at the moment. :-(

I know you loved Louie. He was so hard not to love and his personality shines through every photo I ever took of him. Somehow the 4 thousand or so that I took and saved don't seem so crazy anymore. I wish I took more.

Love and pug hugs to everyone.

Oh Elizabeth, I'm so, so sorry to hear this. Louie was a lucky boy to have ended up in your life. I know you gave him the very best of medical care and all the love a pug could ask for. My heart is heavy for you and your husband during this difficult time. Pug hugs to you and if you need to talk, feel free to call me at any time.
