anyone using Anipryl?

I know - I only stop by when I need something Dear Vince turned 13 about a month ago - but about a week before he turned 13 he started to have issues sleeping through the night. We've tried everything and after a month or so have to conclude its CDS. Wondering if anyone has used this with success? I know it costs an arm and a leg and I know all about the side effects...but he *and* I need to start sleeping through the night.

I know Blanche has used it and I used it for a short time with two of mine that had sundowners as part of their cognitive dysfunction. I think it helped, but I didn't start it with either one of them until it was towards the end of their journey.
My vet had me try tryptophan first on Eddie but he needed stronger meds.

Yes. I've used it twice with Bob and with Maude. It was helpful, but like Rebecca, I started it a bit late. Candace is using it for her Salvador and it's really helped him.

I used it for Pugsley, it didn't work for him.

I thought about using it on my late Chipper. The alzheimer started on him when he was about 14.5 and I let him go when he was 15.5. He was getting worse and his body was just to tired so he let me know. He was on several medications already and I did not want to put him on more for my selfishness. I guess its a 50/50 chance on using it (?).
