Please remember Sassi

Sassi has left for the Bridge, as those who have made this choice before know it is the hardest choice in the WORLD.

She could not see me in the end, she was blind. But she could smell me
and licked my face to let me know it was OK the cancer has spread so
far, her sight was gone and her love of life too.

It is a fortunate thing that we can choose this path for our pets, maybe
someday we can let our elder humans experience the release she felt
today.

God Bless everyone of you and I personally thank you for your love and
support, Sassi and I began this journey 12 years ago

I'm very sorry that you lost Sassi. She was a big part of your life and I remember your stories about her. Ellen did put a post in the "Positive Vibes Needed" section and you can see there all the responses to the loss of your girl.

My heart goes out to you-- I know how you loved your girl.

The most loving condolences Charla. I have known you and Sassi for years and she has always been one of favourites.

As Blanche mentioned, there is another thread with prayers and condolences from many people.

I have been missing from the PA board for a while. I'm so so sorry to hear about Sassi. She was one of the first pugs I "got to know" in the days of PV. I'll say a prayer for your special little pug tonight.

(((Charla))) For her entire life, you did everything you could for Sassi. In the end, you did the best thing because you were there for her final moments. She knew nothing but love from you. You were a great mama to her.
