Yay!

Post  Saira on 6/6/2011, 10:53 am

I know most of you in rescue already know this, but lately it seems we keep getting in seniors and/or special needs, and no one EVER applies to adopt them. It's just sad, and we've gotten to the point where we really are having a difficult time finding places for them-you can't just keep over burdening the few foster homes willing to take in a senior. Anyways, we got in a great app for one of our seniors (Diego), and he went to their home yesterday. Quiet adult home with another 10 year old pug. Fingers crossed more people who appreciate seniors apply-we were losing hope so this was good timing. Very Happy

Double yay! I know how difficult it is just to place a middle age pug no less a senior.

Yippee! I hope you get more apps for the seniors. People just don't know what they are missing when they overlook the senior pugs.
