I've offered. We've got a bunch at the vet's office needing fosters. So we'll see.

I know, right?! I cannot imagine what it takes to run a rescue so large! I feel overwhelmed if we have anything over 15 at one time!

It IS crazy.
And we do it with an army of volunteers. I'll do a separate post and lay out the structure if you're interested. It's changed over time, as all good organizations do.

Yeah if you could, that'd be great. We kind of feel like we need to start changing something because we are having trouble keeping up at the rate we are going. We are also control freaks so it's hard to let go.

Very true Saira. We, Polar Pug Rescue, have grown from what we used to be. At one point, PPR was run solely by one person. Since I have come on the board and been active, we have worked hard to be a true non-profit. We struggle with balancing policies / procures with what is realistic.
