People-grr.

Post  Saira on 6/21/2011, 12:43 pm

We just got in 2 pugs from the shelter that were apparently left out or in a car-they were overheated, and in danger. Their temps were really really high. They just transported them to our vet. The female, they said, looks like she JUST had puppies as she's still LACTATING. Where are the puppies??!!

Oh geez Saira.

What the heck is wrong with people?

Maybe her puppies didn't survive, and that is why she was dumped?

How many rescues are you up to now? Will you guys have to close the doors soon? It seems they are coming at you left, right and sideways this year!

We have tried to say emergencies only but they are all emergencies! We are also getting in one deaf girl-we told the lady we are full, so could she please hang onto her another week or so, but she threatened to take her to the kill shelter. I hate people like that, but we didn't want her ending up there (especially if she is deaf). We are beyond full though-we are up to 33 and we have never had that many in before. Normally we stay around 15-20, but apps are sloooow too. We have about 6 boarded at our vet right now.

I'll take in another one, but I'm out of town this weekend and then in Reno for work so I can't until after that. But people can't even wait one freaking week.

Oh, man, that sucks large. Saying huge prayers that the puggies are ok and that the puppies are found (or accounted for).

After I get the last 2 kittens adopted out, I could probably temporarily foster one. I know I'm a long way away, but if you're desperate.....

I'm waiting on pics, but besides the two we got in from the shelter, we also got...A FRENCHIE, lol. I'll post pics when I get them. The two pugs seem to be doing better, but apparently the little female is terrified. Makes me sad. I'm sure she doesn't know what is going on or where her babies are! They will be at our vet's for a few days.
