not a pug, but lost, possibly injured dog, VA area

Post  ayleash on 7/13/2011, 11:45 am

Attn VA folks!! Charlotte Perry and her husband Jack were in a car
accident off Rt 15 near Haymarket VA. that claimed Charlotte's life.
Their Great Pyr was seen running from the
accident after her crate flew out the back of the van and opened on
impact. They are gathering to search for the dog right now due to the
extreme heat and humidity. If you can help with the search or have any
idea to help locate this girl please call Erika Lanasa at 443-744-6300
or Billy Miller at 717-873-8601.

PLEASE forward and repost this message to any and all dog groups and post on your facebook pages as well
.

How absolutely devastating. I hope she is found safe and returned soon to her doubly grieving owner.

I saw on FB that the dog has been found and is safe.

Update, Wedneday, 8:50 a.m. - Prince William County police say a passerby on U.S. 15 found Cricket about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday night near Logmill Road and held her until police arrived and reunited her with her family. Wayne Boyd, a friend of the Perrys, said finding Cricket would help the family as they grieve the death of Charlotte Perry, who was killed in Sunday's crash.
