Meet Lulu

I picked up our newest foster, Lulu, tonight. She and two boy pugs came in together from the same place. The two boys are Hank & Kingston. Lulu is about 6 yrs old, Hank is about 7, and I understand that they are the parents of Kingston- who is about 4. Reneé probably knows why they were surrendered, I forgot to ask.



Lulu has an ear infection we're treating, and she needs to lose a couple pounds, but I am in love!

I did the intake on LuLu, her hubby Hank and their son Kingston. For those of you on FB, I posted some pictures and some information on Kingston, as he is at my house right now in foster.

The three pugs were surrendered by a woman that told us she had just started an in-home daycare. She was keeping the pugs outside or in kennels all day while she ran her daycare. This is what she said on the phone... of course, when she showed up to the surrender, she had her brand new (I mean less than a month old) baby with her. Something made me think this surrender had quite a bit to do with the new baby.

Anyway, these three pugs are super, super sweet. Kingston is just a love. I spent a little time with LuLu when she came in as well, and she has good fawn attitude. She's a talker, which I think MJ is going to find out right quick! Haha! Kingston is used to having his mommy, so now that he isn't with her anymore, he has attached him self to my girl pug. He loves her!

The dad, Hank is a very sweet man too. He has some back issues, which really ticks me off that they were breeding him. But, then again, I am not surprised.

MJ - I think LuLu will do just fine in your house, which is why I had suggested to Vickie that you be the one to foster her. She is resilient and a happy go lucky kind of pug.

Oh yes. She loves to talk, and she has an opinion on everything!


Last night she explored the entire house, and the yard. As usual, after the first 5 minutes, my gang didn't pay her any attention unless she came up to them.



She slept on the bed against my legs, and although she was breathing loud while exploring, she didn't snore much at all. Hank, the older male, is a doll too. I am going to try for good pics of him over at his foster home when the rain lets up.

They're both absolutely adorable! MJ, I think you're right about that glint of mischief in Lulu's eye. She looks full of herself! And Renee, Kingston is simply gorgeous. I hope he's easy for you guys to place -- I'd take him in a heartbeat!
