Another Immiticide Shortage

Once again,we will be scrambling to try and treat our heartworm positive dogs. Our vet only has 12 bottles left. So if you pull from Southern shelters,it's going to be hard to treat the dogs.

The last time this happened,the vets would have to get in touch with Merial and then Merial would decide which dogs would get treated and send the vets the immiticide. The vet that we use treats all dogs with the split treatment no matter if they are a high positive or low positive. We have dogs right now that need their second treatment,but aren't due yet.

We've had the same problem here and it drives me nuts. It makes no sense to me that there is a shortage of this stuff.

We have a decent amount at work after treating a heartworm positive dog a few months ago. It's liquid gold at this point.
