Unfortunately, this is way south of us. I hope that all of the legs get filled and he's on his way to his new forever home soon though!

Us too, and we're going to be in the Aurora, IL area on Sunday. I hope you can get all the legs filled and the doxie is in his new home soon.

I had to cancel the transport. The driver for leg 2 backed out at the last minute. Not happy about this at all. Cowboy's mommy is devastated. She had all of his meds ordered, special food etc. ready for him for tomorrow. She was even thinking of driving all the way from Memphis to Effingham to get him. What happened to when you make a commitment you stand by it or find someone to take your place? Guess I must be getting old to expect this from others as well.

I forgot to update this. Cowboy's transport got filled for last Saturday and he is now at his new home with his family and loving it. Such a happy ending for a deaf and visually impaired double dapple doxie found running in a ditch.

Excellent! Things do tend to come together when they need to. Good thoughts to everyone who took a leg, to the new furever family, and to the doxie. And to you, Trish.
