I am adopting a pug from SERPA.........I'm soooo excited and nervous at the same time.

Jana (papaspugs) is fostering him, he is one of the pugs from the hoarding situation.
When I saw his pic and read what she had to say about him my heart took a little leap.
I just got off the phone with her and after the initial crying we had a great chat and I am more excited now than ever.
I know Rupert is looking down on me and sent me the right guy to fill my heart with joy again.
I was going to try to keep it a secret but I suck at them plus we might need help getting him here or 1/2 way here.
I can't wait.

Thanks, of course I was bawling as I wrote that just thinking of Rupert but I know in my heart this is the right thing to do.

I'm half thinking of naming him Stewie form the family guy because his teddy bears name was Rupert.

Cool! I well know the anticipation must be driving you bonkers. Stewie sounds like a great name.

Thanks, I'm actually ok with the wait. When I adopted Rupert I could not stand waiting the two weeks to get him but this time around I have a better perspective on things.

Don't know if the hubby will like Stewie but if I am really set on it I am sure I can convince him!

There were some tears when I talked to Donna this morning. I could not have hand picked a better home for him.



Hopefully we can work out a transport sooner than later.
