It actually doesn't look like cherry eye to me, but I'm not a vet, so who knows? lol

Take him in. Let them look. Eyes are nothing to mess around with!

Let us know how it goes! It doesn't look like the cherry eye my cocker had, but hers is the only one I've ever seen.

My bet is for an infected duct or something like that. Cherry eye is MUCH more obvious. But I'm no vet either! Hope all is okay!

It doesn't look like a cherry eye to me. I'm thinking it could be an infected eye lash follicle,or duct like Rona mentioned. Or maybe an eyelash is irritating an inner lid? It reminds me of a stye.

I hope it's nothing serious. Please let us know how Hank is after his vet visit

I agree, likely not a cherry eye (we see a fair number of them at the shelter). They don't seem to come on suddenly like that, either.

Good for you for hustling off to the vet! Eyes are so important. Very Happy

No cherry eye.....the vet said it could of been a bug bite or maybe a stye. She stained his eye and no scratches. So she gave him some eye drop meds and said he should be fine..thank you all for you thought. All I was thinking was $$$$$$$$$.oh the bad new he is 28 lbs at 7 months and said he at max should be 25 lbs.She said yes he is going to be a big boy but overweight right now.so I guess the 2 cups a day is to much...LOL I have never had a dog that was over 20lbs..now I do.She said when you cant see the waist line that means cut back..so all in all good news and under $100 for I am happy..

Very good news, DeeAnn. Please give chunky Hank a big hug, and then give yourself a big hug, and then give your wallet a big hug.
