Fearful dogs

Post  dieselsmom on 9/27/2009, 07:18

I found a link for this website in the blog on The Bark website and it's FULL of great information:

http://www.fearfuldogs.com/index.html

I haven't read through the entire website yet as there's lots of information on it, but it's a nice resource for those of us dealing with what the website's author calls "seriously damaged dogs" such as the puppymill dogs that so many of us see come through rescues.

Yes thank you! Kinley is still so afraid of new people, new dogs, new ANYTHING. I'm going to check this out now!

Thank you very much. I think that part of Penny's aggression is fear, and this will give me so much help in working with it.

If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then give him only two of them.
